Message Board

For the second time, the Strabane Grammar School messageboard has had to be taken offline due to complaints about content. This time, there may be no return, and if there is, it will be on an extremely tightly moderated basis.

For completeness, I will include the final message that I posted to the messageboard below.

Well, it had to happen sooner or later. I received a phone call from the headmaster informing me that he had received many complaints from parents about this board and requested it to be shut down.

I have warned you all many times about the abuse of the board but have gone unheeded and this is the result. Nobody but me can now post to the board and it will be removed in a few days, once people have had a chance to read this message.

The board may return in future, but even if it does, expect a much more strict regime, with messages being vetted before being posted.

I'm sorry to do this, but I've been put into a position where I have no choice.
